- My first job was in Bhilai Steel Plant, back in 1973. The 5 years of IIT (Kanpur) had not exactly readied me for Blast Furnaces but the education there (like in all engineering colleges) gave us a grounding in problem solving. After moving around a little (Kudremukh, MRF Tyres, LML Scooters), now I have a software company of my own in Dubai UAE.
