I always thought that when three consecutive goals are made by same player in a match, it is a hat trick. But today's (14th Aug 2008) Gulf News report says, "India rode on a hat trick from Sunil Chetri to drub holders Tajikistan 4-1 and lift.....Skipper Bhutia made it 2-0..."
So I am confused now.
By the way, did you know that in cricket, a bowler can carry his previous match's performance to make a hat trick ?
